Monagrouli Solar Park
Renewable Energy – Solar Energy Park, Monagrouli, Limassol
Recognising the rising demand for affordable, sustainable energy, we’ve expanded our activities into renewable energy. This strategic move not only reflects our commitment to a greener future but also positions the Group as a leading force in Cyprus’ green energy sector.
As part of our ongoing commitment to sustainable development, the Group is spearheading the creation of a photovoltaic solar energy park in Monagrouli, Limassol, Cyprus on behalf of an international investment entity. The project encompasses full-cycle development including planning, permitting, engineering, and construction.
The solar park will have a total capacity of 3.2MWp, with a total investment estimated at approximately €3.8 million. Expected annual returns are projected at 18%–20%.
Phase A, with a capacity of 1.94MWp, has been successfully completed and the park has been fully operational since 1 April 2025.
Phase B, which will contribute an additional 1.24MWp, is scheduled to begin construction by the end of Q3 2025.
This landmark project reinforces our role in the transition to clean energy, while delivering strong financial performance and long-term environmental value.
The Sherlock Holmes Hotel, Baker Street, London, UK
In 2002 and while investing in “buy to let” accommodation the company was appointed as one of the subcontractors to assist with the complete refurbishment of a 108 rooms hotel on Baker street in central London known at the time as The Sherlock Holmes Hotel.
The company was responsible for the complete interior fit out of the hotel which included the interior demolition of the old hotel, renewal of all electrical & plumbing works, as well as, internal carpentry and decoration of the new Hotel.
he total project cost was circa GBP £16m and was completed within 2,5 years.
The Limassol Agora, Cyprus
Limassol AGORA is one of The Prosperity Group’s flagship projects and a prime example of urban regeneration. Located in the heart of Limassol’s city centre, this 28,000 sqft, heritage-listed building has stood for over a century, celebrating its 102nd anniversary in 2024.
Acquired in late 2018, the building underwent a complete transformation led by The Prosperity Group. Delivered in just 18 months with a €4.5 million investment, Limassol AGORA officially opened in August 2020 and has since become the city’s premier food and entertainment destination, welcoming over 100,000 visitors each month.
Inspired by the ancient Greek concept of the “Agora”—a public gathering place—Limassol AGORA brings together diverse cultures and experiences under one roof. With more than 30 vendors, including 20 international street food outlets, it offers an eclectic dining experience in an open-plan setting. Boutique retail shops complement the space, featuring a curated selection of local and international goods.
It is also a space for families and social gatherings, offering a modern indoor playground, arcade games, and a virtual reality area. Limassol AGORA hosts over 100 events annually, from live performances and family activities to networking events and private celebrations, across its three venues: Azul By Kesh, The Tent, and the main ground floor.

Student ‘’buy to let’’ Property Portfolio Purchase & Management , Guildford, Surrey, UK
‘’Buy to Let’’ Properties was the foundation for the creation of The Prosperity Group. While studying at University of Surrey Mr Alexandrou identified a huge need and shortage of properties suitable for student housing.
Following his studies in 2000, he started purchasing single properties, converting them into HMO’s and renting them out to students. The demand was overwhelming and therefore following the purchase of his first 6 properties he created The Prosperity Group as a holding company. At its peak in 2012 the company was holding and managing directly and through Cypriot subsidiaries 12 HMO’s totalling 65 units.
This successful initial project had an annual IRR in excess of 14% and when sold it provided all the necessary equity to expand into developing empty plots of land initially within Surrey (Guildford, Kingston & Weybridge) and then in London, UK.
Park Plaza Westmister Bridge Hotel,London, UK
This chic, new, 16-story above ground and 3 floors below ground, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London hotel features contemporary design throughout its 1021 rooms and suites (80,000 sqm). It has one of the largest conference and banqueting facilities in London and can hosts events up to 1300 people at any time. It accommodates business and leisure travellers to ultra-modern conveniences in the city’s South Bank neighbourhood across the bridge from UK’s parliament in the City of Westminster.
The Prosperity Group was part of the project management team involved in the project from the very early stages until it’s completion in 2012.
The company was working under the umbrella of Gear Construction Project Management and assisted where necessary on the selection and monitoring of several subcontractors, sourcing of all construction and finishing items, monitoring the project’s timetable and dealing with the chief QS on all FF&E items, to ensure the successful completion of this hugely challenging project which was finally completed 6 months earlier and within the initial budget set. This GBP £230m project was the biggest challenge construction wise the company and its management had to face up to date and we are all very proud with the final results.
Arena Hospitality Group-Park Plaza Histria Pula, Croatia
After the completion of the Westminster Bridge Hotel in London our company had the opportunity to get involved at Project Management Level with the refurbishment and upgrade of the largest Hospitality project in Croatia, the complete refurbishment of the Hotels and camping sites portfolio of Arena Tourism Hospitality group in Istria, Croatia.
As part of our company’s responsibilities, we had to plan, budget and monitor the refurbishment of Verudela Resort in Pula, which is one of the 3 resorts, 4 hotels and 3 camping sites owned by Arena Tourism Company in Croatia.
Our part of the project included in the first phase the upgrading of a 3 star, 385 rooms hotel and apartments to a 4* hotel in addition to 80 villas, bungalows, a traditional shopping street, an open air theatre and the Verudela Beach area.
This project was completed within 3 years and had a total budget of Euro 80m.
Park Plaza London Riverbank hotel, London, UK
Following the successful completion of the Sherlock Holmes Hotel, the company was offered to get involved with the construction of the new Riverbank Park Plaza Hotel in Riverbank, London. This challenging project which was constructed next to river Thames consisted of 385 rooms hotel and 49 serviced apartments. It began in 2006 and was one of the first large scale projects that the Prosperity Group was involved in as one of the sub contractor for the internal fit out of the hotel. Additionally, of being responsible for a large part of the interior fit out of this project we got the chance to work under the umbrella of Gear Construction Management who is one of the largest project management companies in the UK and learned a lot from the process during this project.
The development consisted of 2 floors underground and 12 floors above ground housing a 385 rooms of a 4* plus hotel rating and 49 serviced apartments, as well as, 2 floors of conference facilities and offices underground, South of River Thames next to Vauxhall Bridge in London, UK. This unique project which has a construction cost in excess of GBP £100m was completed within budget and on time and was considered to be a great success for all companies involved.
Project 347 A.F, Office Building, Limassol, Cyprus
In October 2019, The Prosperity Group acquired a prime plot of land on one of Limassol’s most prominent shopping streets. Following a successful planning application, the Group was granted a permit to develop a modern, Glass A office building spanning 6 floors.
Completed in July 2024, the building offers 17,500 sqft of premium office space, complemented by 1,750 sqft of high-visibility retail and commercial space at ground level. To meet the demands of tenants and visitors, the development includes 19 underground parking spaces.
This project fills a critical gap in Limassol’s market for medium-sized, newly built office units, where demand continues to exceed supply. Its contemporary design and strategic location make it a standout offering in the city’s commercial real estate landscape.
Marquis Road, Camden Town, London, UK
This property was purchased by the Prosperity Group in 2018 as a plot of land with several parking garages on it.
Following two successful planning applications our company managed to obtain planning to develop a new residential scheme consisting of nine apartments totalling 8,500 sqft.
The total development cost of this project is estimated to be GBP£5,8m and is expected to be completed by the end of December 2020.
This new development which is currently under construction will consist of 2 x 1bedroom apts, 2 x 2bedroom apts, 4 x 3bedroom apts and 1 x 4bedroom apts
It offers easy access to the centre of London and it is 10 mins walking distance from Kings Cross trains’ station and 15 mins walk from Camden Town Underground Station.
Park Plaza Vondelpark hotel, Amsterdam, the Netherlands
While working at Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London an opportunity arose for the company to take care of the complete refurbishment of Vondelpark Hotel in Amsterdam, following the successful purchase of the property by Park Plaza Hospitality group from Ramada Hotels.
The Prosperity Group was chosen as the main contractor for the complete refurbishment of the 123 rooms Vondelpark Plaza Hotel in Amsterdam which started in 2008 and included the complete refurbishment and extension of the old hotel and its conversion from a 3* hotel to a 4* plus rating.
Our company as the main Project manager and main contractor was responsible for the design, build and complete execution of all construction works in relation to this project including all FF&E items needed.
This project which had a total cost of €20m was completed in 18months and was within the initial estimated budget and time.
